How to Use Shilajit Resin

It takes under a minute a day. Here's exactly how much to take, when to take it, and how to get the most from pure Himalayan resin.

Shilajit resin is simple to use once you know the basics. The whole routine takes under a minute, and the most important factor isn't the exact amount — it's doing it consistently. Here's the complete guide.

How much to take

The standard serving is roughly a pea-sized amount (about 100mg) once per day. Our 25g jar contains approximately 250 servings — about 8 months once daily — and the 15g pouch around 150 servings. Start with one serving a day and stay there for at least a couple of weeks before considering twice-daily use.

The three-step method

1. Scoop

Use the spoon provided (or a clean utensil) to take a pea-sized portion of resin. Pure resin is firm when cool and softens with warmth, so it can be slightly sticky — that's normal and a sign it hasn't been cut with fillers.

2. Dissolve

Stir it into 150–200ml of warm (not boiling) water, warm milk, or tea. Boiling water can degrade some of the actives, so aim for comfortably warm. It will dissolve into a rich, dark liquid in a few seconds.

3. Drink

Drink it down. The taste is earthy and slightly bitter — many people come to enjoy it, and it pairs well with honey or a squeeze of lemon if you prefer.

When is the best time?

Most people take Shilajit in the morning on an empty stomach for energy and focus through the day. If you train in the evening, taking it earlier avoids any chance of it affecting sleep. Pick a time you'll remember — attaching it to an existing habit like your morning coffee makes it stick.

How long until you notice anything?

Cognitive effects like focus are often noticed within the first few days. Physical benefits such as energy and recovery tend to build over the first one to two weeks of daily use. Shilajit rewards consistency, so give it a fair run.

On-the-go option

If measuring resin isn't practical when you travel, our Wild Honey Sticks deliver Shilajit alongside Korean Red Ginseng, Ashwagandha KSM-66 and Rhodiola in a single tear-and-go sachet — no spoon, no mess.

Storage

Keep the jar sealed at room temperature, away from direct sunlight and moisture. Resin is naturally shelf-stable and doesn't need refrigeration.
